Alaska is truly the last frontier and the Kenai Peninsula is its “playground”.

We are Heavenly Sights Charters and Campground located in Ninilchik, AK.  We are located at milepost 132.2 on the main highway (Sterling Hwy.)  You will find our camp located on the bluff right on the Cook Inlet.  The Cook Inlet is noted for being the “Halibut Capital” fishing water of the world.  The “barn doors” you’ve heard about are what we mainly fish.  Our captains make a point at trying to make your day on the water one of the best experiences you have ever had.  Most of our customers are repeat customers or have come because one of our customers has told them about us.

Along with fishing for halibut, we have cabins, RV spots and tent sights.  Most people coming to Heavenly Sights love to take pictures and watch the many eagles that are in our area.  Razor clamming is also a great adventure.  Many people come and camp with us just to get their winter supply of razor clams or just for the experience of trying there luck.  Moose are seen quite often in our area and an occasional bear may come through.  There are some marmots, squirrels and weasels that like to call Heavenly Sights their home as well as some other birds and mammals that will wonder by to say hello!  These are just a few things that you might enjoy.  There are many others.

Facilities : Cabins and Campground
Located at Milepost 132.2 of the Sterling Highway, Heavenly Sights is situated on the bluff overlooking the Cook Inlet 4 miles north of Ninilchik. Named for the panoramic view, on a clear day you can see all of the active volcanoes on the west side of the Inlet.

Mount Spur, Mount Redoubt, Mounts Iliamna and Mount St. Augustine are part of the ring of fire around the Pacific Ocean.

In addition to our fishing services, we offer private camping facilities; including room to handle large groups in comfortable cabins able to accommodate up to six people. Full bathroom facilities are nestled closely behind the cabins.

With 23 acres and 3/4 mile of beachfront, you will have room to explore. Whether its clamming on the beach or a beautiful sunset from the bluff, this is the place to be if you want to avoid the crowds.
